Midnight Groove has returned to Queensland following two years of performances overseas including throughout Asia, London and nine months on a cruise ship. 

They appeared at a  diverse range of gigs including jazz at the Ritz and Dorchester in London , cocktail groove/rnb in cruise lounges, pop gigs in Shanghai Hilton and dance club performances in resorts and on islands.  

Midnight Groove is one of Australia's premier music groups and has been entertaining audiences world wide for over ten years. They perform as a trio through to a nine piece spectacular! THE CLINT FRANCIS BAND

Clint Francis is one of Queensland’s most highly regarded vocalists and has earned a reputation for being a ‘singer’s singer’. His early experience began on stage at the age of 12 singing jazz standards with a live swing ensemble.

Clint has continually honed his skills in a career now spanning twenty years performing a diversity of styles including jazz, soul, blues, pop and funk, both locally and internationally, through live performances with local bands and supports to such name acts as Mondo Rock, Kids In The Kitchen, Richard Clapton and Cold Chisel. In 2002 Clint performed at the highly prestigious Tokyo Hilton Hotel. While in Tokyo Clint’s outstanding vocal abilities provided him the opportunity to perform with internationally renowned vocalist Alex Ligertwood from Santana, sharing the stage in a once off special performance. On his return to Australia he was invited to be special guest vocalist performing a number of shows with the Hey It's Saturday Big Band in Melbourne while also working as a session vocalist, providing the voice for many radio, television and album projects as well as corporate performances in Hong Kong.

RUSH customises its performance to cater for specific requirements. THE SEKS

The Seks are good! Covers &/or originals. Funk/Roots/R&B band created by love and understanding. Tight grooves, fizzy guitar solos, bombastic bass lines and  dancing is what they're all about. Brooksy (lead vocal) writes and performs with the mind of an adult and the heart of a child. Dave  (guitarist) with paisley guitar and barstool in hand will play for beer while Damian (bass),  will hit you with his addictive riffs. Their vibrant touch leaves crowds and listeners marked with the love groove of a killer whale on heat! Very funky.

CROSSFIRE

Crossfire blends together three seasoned musicians with the youthful sounds of an outstanding young female vocalist. Add a mix of the best musical material being played and you’ve captured the sound of Crossfire. When you want to dance and party all night, this is the band to take you there. Fronting Crossfire is  rising star and the remarkably talented Cabe Angelique. Cabe effortlessly and impressively belts out hit songs from Christina Aguilera and Pink through to the funk rock of Jamiroquai and Lenny Kravitz.

GOOD ROCKIN' DADDYS

The Good Rockin' Daddys have  entertained audiences throughout Queensland and New South Wales for many years. Each member of the band can take care of lead vocal duties which results in the Good Rockin' Daddys signature sound of tightly woven harmonies that will appeal to a wide age group.

The Good Rockin' Daddys cover a wide range of music which can be customised to any venue or function. So it is no surprise that Good Rockin' Daddys is Queensland’s top rock ‘n roll band and former winners of the Wintersun Festival.

Dance the forbidden Lambada dance, Limbo competitions, Mambo, Salsa, Merengue, and Samba.  Enjoy your Latin favourites, La Bamba, Guantanamera. Sing along to those Belafonte Calypsos: - Coconuts, Banana and Jamaican songs and recent Gypsy Kings, Santana & Ricky Martin hits and the latest songs like Hot Hot Hot and Macarena, Mambo No 5, World Cup, & Buena Vista Social Club songs.

ULA - band 4 or 5-piece

Ula is well known on the Coast for her soulful and powerful but smooth sounding vocals fused with a energy packed show - a night never to forget! 

Ula is joined by Gabor on guitar/vocals, Luke on bongos/guitar/vocals, Mark on bass and Dyon on sax and together they deliver a diverse repertoire includes a range of style including swing, jazz, rock n roll, reggae, soul and funk.

SOULED ON BLUES - 4-5-6 piece Band

Souled On Blues is a fabulous line-up that features six top class performers. The band can also perform as a trio and four or five piece, and can also add congas and percussion.

On hot sax and delivering  bucket loads of fun is Geo Heathcote, on guitar is Peter Wells, Gerard Cowen takes good care of the bass lines and Richard Haszard is on keyboards. Backing up this tasty line-up is well known local drummer Bob Ward.

Add female vocals, put them all together and you’ve got one hot mix blues, grooves, R&B and jumping swing combined with delicious jazz and R&B flavours.  

MEGAN WASHINGTON

Australian artist Megan Washington has won a swag of accolades that belie her young age of 21. A graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, she has her own particular 'indie-jazz style', influenced by the likes of Rufus Wainwright, The Magnetic Fields, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits and Billie Holliday.

KRISTINA KELMAN (available in trio to 8-piece format)

Kristina is a dynamic performer who has already gained much experience in the music world. She is regarded and respected as an accomplished jazz and contemporary singer and has performed throughout Australia and overseas. Her classic style blends equal parts of artistic vision, hard work and determination. She is a well qualified music educator and is presently Director of Performance Arts at St Stephens College in Brisbane.

Her debut album 'Since I Fell For You' is a musical journey through various jazz styles of the 20th Century. Kristina entices the listener as she carefully blends her warm, rich colour, together with her remarkable musicianship and ability to transform melodies and make them her own.
