During the mid 1980's, he pursued his love of classical guitar to tertiary level. He was the first-ever Geelong guitarist to be accepted into the Victorian College Of The Arts and to perform at the Melbourne Concert Hall with guitar greats such as John Williams, Paco Péna, Ike Isaacs, George Golla and Doug de Vries. Available as a solo instrumentalist, Jazz Duo and as a Concert Classical Guitarist.

The lead singer and songwriter for Australian band Bourbon Street – which has recently re-formed - plays the classic hits of the 60s and 70s along with appealing contemporary songs. Making full use of his three-octave vocal range, her performs with as much passion and expression as ever. He beautifully captures the sounds of artists such as Neil Young, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and Van Morrison along with unplugged versions of The Doors and Cold Chisel.

He has appeared at venues ranging from theatres, galleries and folk festivals throughout Australia to classical guitar festivals and chamber music series in the UK and Netherlands. With a distinct and award-winning style that features a fusion of rock, dance and funk, she has a wealth of experience behind her and has made numerous appearances at venues, music festivals and events throughout the east coast of Australia. ... this is one accomplished guitarist and vocalist - tours to Europe every year with his hot band, played at Mary and Fred's wedding celebrations - he performed at a special concert for the couple and enjoyed a beer with Prince Freddie after the concert. He and his band are extremely popular in countries such as Sweden, Denmark and Germany etc, where they appear every year to thousands of screaming fans.

When back in his home on the Sunshine Coast, he is available in solo and duo format with congas/percussion, playing a wide range of covers.
