IMPORTANT
INFORMATION REGARDING LIVE PERFORMERS AT THE PLANTATION

The
Plantation
has strict sound conditions in place relating to the live performances of
musicians and other performers that incorporate music, song, sound
or speech into their act/s.
·
These
conditions must be adhered to by all performers and clients are advised to
be aware of the following details prior to considering the style of
entertainment they would like for their Function or Event.
Agreement with Musicians - as stated in The Plantation's Events Terms and Conditions:

Entertainment
– The
Plantation
has a firm good neighbour policy to ensure the residential
amenity of this beautiful environment is respected and preserved.
We have adopted best practice approaches, policies and contractual
requirements to ensure noise levels, including guest behaviour,
are in all respects reasonable. Further, given The Plantation
ambience, some proximity to residents and the requirements of Liquor
Licensing Laws, we invite only musicians or DJ's who share our
commitment (and who are contractually bound to do so) to perform at
the property.

We
are permitted three amplified musicians or a DJ.

Drums
and brass instruments are not permitted. The
Plantation
is not a venue where entertainment needs excessive volume to be
enjoyed.

Maximum
noise level is 85 dcbs.

All
entertainers are required to use our amplification system, which
delivers superb quality of sound and controlled volume output.
No independent speakers will be permitted on the premises.

Entertainment
must conclude by 11.00pm Fridays and Saturdays and by 6pm Sunday -
Thursday. Background music is then provided by the venue to
enjoy until 11.30pm.

speak with us about available connections to our PA system.

The
Plantation
will be available for set up from 3 hours before your event. All
entertainers must conduct a full sound check at this time and be
signed off having done so.

All
musicians must park at the rear of the main buildings. Make your
way to the left of the main house and park at the rear. All
unloading and setting up must be provided from this point.

Musicians
must set up in front of the installed acoustic panels.
-
Musicians
are not permitted to consume alcoholic beverages whilst on the
premises.

Contravening
of the above guidelines will not be permitted. The
Plantation
reserves the right to close the event if there are any breaches of
these undertakings.

sign the agreement stating the above)
PLEASE ALSO NOTE AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF 10% INC GST APPLIES TO ALL
PERFORMERS BOOKED
TO APPEAR AT THE PLANTATION. THIS FEE IS ON TOP OF ALL PRICES QUOTED TO
CLIENTS BY ASAP
ENTERTAINMENT.
